Lindenwood University Lions
Women's Ice Hockey Division 1

The Lindenwood University Lions started their ice hockey program in 2003 as a member of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association). The Lions quickly became a dominant force by winning thier first ACHA National Championship in their third season. Lindenwood continued to dominate the ACHA by winning a total of four ACHA National Championships in their eight seasons of play. 

In 2011, Lindenwood graduated to greater challenges as they were accepted into NCAA Division 1 women's hockey. It was a time to start from scratch and rebuild.

Coach Vince O'Mara has guided the Lions since the beginning. He enjoys the challenge and is looking forward to rebuilding another successful Lindenwood team in NCAA Division 1 women's hockey.
